Leadership 2026 | Practical Stewardship for
Work, Family, and the Future
Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 9:00am to 3:00pm
Phoenix Business Center, Belmopan
You’re Invited …
If your business is growing but your time, health, or family life is paying the price… this workshop is for you.
This one-day Juntos workshop is designed for serious, growth-minded professionals who feel stretched and want practical help.
Why should I give up my Saturday for this?
Because staying busy without clear priorities eventually leads to burnout, strained relationships, and a business that depends too much on you. This workshop will help you step back and put practical habits in place so your business supports your life—not the other way around.
Walk away with practical tools to:
Manage your time more effectively
Set boundaries without damaging relationships
Recognize and prevent burnout
Align your work with your long-term purpose
Stewardship is not only about finances. It includes our health, our responsibilities, our relationships, our work, and the legacy we leave behind. Through practical teaching and thoughtful discussion, this workshop will encourage you to manage well what has been placed in your hands and to prepare wisely for the future.
Featured Speakers
This event will bring together experienced presenters to address several areas of life where wise stewardship matters most. Each session is intended to be practical, relevant, and immediately useful for people who want to lead their lives with greater clarity, responsibility, and purpose.
Andrea McSweaney- Mckoy
Personal Estate Planning and Wills
Andrea McSweaney McKoy is a partner with McKoy Torres LLP in Belmopan. According to the firm’s published attorney profile, her practice areas include Estate Planning, Wills, and Trusts, along with real estate, civil litigation, corporate and commercial matters, and family law.
In this session, Andrea will help you understand the importance of personal estate planning and wills. She will address why it matters to put legal and practical plans in place for the people and resources entrusted to us. This topic connects strongly to the Parable of the Talents because wise stewardship includes preparing responsibly for the future and helping ensure that what we leave behind is protected rather than left in confusion.

She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, and later served in the United Kingdom as a Clinical Fellow in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at Leeds General Infirmary. Dr. Chin will speak on the importance of maintaining personal health. Our health affects our ability to serve, work, lead, and remain faithful in our responsibilities. Stewardship is not only about managing resources well. It is also about caring for the capacity God has given us to live, serve, and endure.

Dr. Minerva Pinelo is a Belizean development specialist with 25+ years of experience across government, private, and nonprofit sectors. She is the Managing Director of Right Insights, where she supports regional and international partners with strategy, project design, and implementation across areas like economic empowerment, gender, health, and climate resilience. Jeremiah Allen will explore the idea of purpose and legacy through the lens of stewardship, challenging you to think beyond short-term success and consider the long-term impact of using what you’ve been given. This session will encourage business leaders to invest their time, skills, and resources with intention—building not just profitable ventures, but lives and businesses that leave a meaningful and lasting mark on their families, teams, and communities.
