Juntos Belize | Joining the Team
Thank you for your interest in working with the Juntos team.
Volunteering with Juntos Belize is an opportunity to help equip entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community influencers in Belize through faith-based training, collaboration, mentorship, and practical business support. Juntos already serves through leadership development workshops, confidential business consulting, a monthly Learning Community webinar, business spotlight features, and ongoing content that encourages excellence, integrity, and purpose in business.
The most likely volunteer roles at this time include the following:
Participating in a Juntos Program in Belize
This role is ideal for someone who wants to serve in person by taking part in a workshop, on-site business visit, mentoring conversation, or other Juntos activity in Belize. Volunteers in this role may help facilitate discussions, share practical business experience, encourage participants, support logistics, or simply come alongside the team as an extra set of capable hands. Juntos already offers leadership workshops and confidential consulting sessions for business and nonprofit leaders, so in-country participation can be especially valuable when paired with humility, listening, and a willingness to serve.
Developing Community using Social Media
This volunteer helps Juntos stay visible, relevant, and active online. The role would include planning and posting social content, promoting upcoming events and webinars, sharing highlights from past sessions, pointing followers to new articles and resources, and helping maintain a consistent voice across platforms. This is especially relevant now that Juntos is building the Learning Community and expanding its public-facing content.
Developing Content
This role supports written content for the website, blog, webinar summaries, learning materials, spotlight profiles, and other resources. A content developer helps translate ideas, conversations, and field experience into clear, useful articles that encourage and equip the Juntos audience. Because the site already includes Insights articles, webinar-related content, and Business Spotlight profiles, this role can make a direct contribution to both quality and consistency.
Event Planning and Logistics Support
This role helps with the preparation and execution of leadership workshops or Learning Community webinars. Volunteers might assist with speaker coordination, slide preparation, attendee communication, follow-up notes, registration support, or archiving transcripts and recordings. Juntos is actively using monthly webinars as a practical teaching format, so this role could be one of the more immediately useful volunteer opportunities.
Mentoring or Business Advising
This role is for experienced business leaders who can offer practical wisdom, honest feedback, and encouragement to entrepreneurs and community leaders. Mentors may contribute through one-on-one conversations, workshop participation, follow-up coaching, or occasional specialized input. This aligns closely with how Juntos describes its mission and the experience of its team, which emphasizes thoughtful mentorship, strategic insight, and practical business guidance.
Supporting the Website and Learning Library
This role helps keep the website current, organized, and easy to use. Tasks could include posting webinar transcripts, updating event pages, improving navigation, formatting articles, uploading resources, and maintaining the Learning Library. For someone who is comfortable with Squarespace and likes order more than chaos, this role can quietly save the rest of the team a surprising amount of grief.
Administrative and Communications Support
This role helps behind the scenes with scheduling, follow-up emails, contact list updates, document preparation, and other small but important operational tasks. Juntos has an active team, advisory board, and a growing set of programs, so dependable administrative support can multiply the effectiveness of everyone else. This kind of role is rarely glamorous, but neither is plumbing, and both matter more than people admit.
Prayer and Encouragement Partner
Because Juntos presents itself as a Christ-centered effort focused on business, leadership, and community influence, there is also a meaningful place for volunteers who want to support the work through prayer, encouragement, and relational care. This may include praying for the team, participants, events, and business owners, or offering personal encouragement to those carrying the daily load of leadership and service.
