Juntos Belize | The Role of an Advisor

The Juntos Belize Board of Advisors serves as a trusted circle of counsel and accountability, helping guide our mission with wisdom, integrity, and practical experience.

Board members strengthen our ability to equip believing entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community influencers in Belize to view their work as a calling — and their businesses as platforms for ministry and national impact.

Advisors:

  1. Provide strategic counsel that clarifies direction, strengthens priorities, and supports long-term sustainability consistent with our Vision and Kingdom-focused purpose.

  2. Offer expertise in areas such as theology and faith-work integration, finance, governance, operations, and Belizean business culture — ensuring programs are biblically grounded and practically sound.

  3. Support responsible growth through advice on fundraising strategy, donor relations, and financial stewardship.

  4. Provide accountability and governance oversight consistent with nonprofit best practices and Belize regulatory requirements.

  5. Serve as ambassadors for Juntos Belize — representing the mission, values, and Kingdom focus with integrity within professional, church, and community networks.

  6. Help identify and recruit aligned speakers, facilitators, participants, host organizations, and strategic partners.

  7. Advise on community engagement and partnership development that strengthens entrepreneurship and leadership across Belize.

  8. Model and articulate the integration of faith and work in their own professional contexts.

  9. Provide cross-cultural perspective bridging U.S. organizational structure with Belizean realities.

  10. Support leadership development, succession planning, program evaluation, and measurable impact reporting.

  11. Offer seasoned counsel during periods of challenge when needed.

  12. Participate in regular meetings with the U.S. leadership team and engage with the Belize advisory team as appropriate.

Serving on the Juntos Belize Board of Advisors is not ceremonial. It is a meaningful partnership rooted in shared conviction — shaping entrepreneurs, strengthening businesses, and building communities grounded in stewardship, integrity, and faith in action.
