Juntos Belize | Position Description

Director of Social Media

Ultimately, success in this role includes progression of the following:

  • More people in Belize are clearly aware of who Juntos is and what we do

  • Juntos events are filling earlier and more consistently

Primary Objective #1: Public Awareness / Follower Growth

  • Develop 1-2 posts/week and 1 short video/month which showcase Juntos mission/vision/purpose/values, highlights of past events, announcements of new blog posts and other news relevsnt to the Juntos community.
    Measurable outcomes will include growth in all measurable categories (e.g. followers/likes/comments, increase in website traffic, etc.)

  • ecpand reach and visibility, grow monthly reach outside the current follower base.


Primary Objective #2:
Promote Juntos events and signups

  • Social-to-registration contribution

  • Target 40–60% of event registrations solicited from social media or social referrals.

  • Majority of registrations achieved ~2 weeks prior to each event.

Each event campaign will include:

  • Early save-the-dates

  • Development of teaser blog posts

  • Assistance with development of registration site content and structure

  • Development of speaker/leader/agenda topic highlights

  • Deadline reminders
